Week 21: Individual and Group Tasks Completed and Filming Completed

Last Friday, as a group we have completed our tasks which we allocated to each member in the group at the beginning of the project, these tasks included the Treatment, Script, Storyboard, Shooting Script, Shooting Schedule and Risk Assessment and Call Sheet Documents. These are the tasks which needed to be completed before we film the advert, these tasks were given out within the group in our first 'minutes' meeting and the tasks which I completed were The Treatment and Shooting Script which I completed with Shona.
As all of these tasks are completed we put them together in our group folder and when we had show we had completed these tasks we were then able to book the camera out for Tuesday (today), to film our television advert. By having the camera booked out for today we have been able to film our advert this morning and convert and download to each of our hard drives ready for us to start editing our adverts on Wednesday (tomorrow), I believe we have got enough good quality footage to create a good television advert which shows a strong narrative and promotes the product well. We started filming in Chichester College at 9:15am and finished filming at 11:00, this was the time in which we expected it would take to film and we were very happy with the footage we got as we filmed each shot twice, therefore we were guaranteed to have good quality footage to use. Therefore by filming today, I will start to edit and bring my whole TV Advert together tomorrow in lesson, and this will include transitions and the background music, which I have also been edited down to 30 seconds to fit in with the advert.

Also, for the next part of the project we also need to carry out a sample viewing on our final television advertisement, and therefore I need to carry out research into Market Research and how it works and the different forms of Market Research. As a group we will be carrying out Sample Viewing, which involves asking a group of our target audience for the advert to watch our advert and comment on what they believe is good about our advert and what could be improved on within the advert. This will then let us have feedback from the people who would be potentially viewing the advert and in which the advert would need to appeal to them and this is how Sample Viewing would help us.
