Week 4: Film Poster Completed

My final film poster was completed today and the process which I have gone through to create the poster within Photoshop I have learnt many new skills within Photoshop, and even though I have used Photoshop in the past for previous projects I have learnt how to use many more different tools within Photoshop.

I have also learnt the ways in which you are able to save a PSD format as a JPEG format. As the JPEG format allows you to open the image in nearly any programme as the PSD format you are unable to open the file in different programmes, and you are only able to edit the PSD File within Photoshop itself.

I am happy with my final movie poster and I am happy that I have learnt news skills within Photoshop to create the film poster. Through creating the film poster I have researched into film posters and the features which they must include and I have created Movie Poster Analysis' for this research.
I have also created an annotated mood board which highlights the colour scheme and theme of my movie, and on the mood board I have explained why I chose those images for my mood board and how they relate to my movie poster and theme.

Overall, through creating this movie poster I have gained knowledge about existing movie posters and the main features on the movie posters and I have gained more knowledge and skills in Photoshop.
